Vicinity App is a client side, mobile application built on the Android platform to provide personal location-based
services such as bookmarking, mapping and nearby search.
The Bookmarking feature allows the user to virtually save places of interest while on the move and thereby
obtain driving directions.
The Mapping enables the user to visualize his relative geographic location in real time and also the bookmark.
The nearby search exploits extensively the Google powerful local search API to allow finding and bookmarking
nearby places such as Restaurants, Airports, Banks, etc, and also retrieving map-based directions.
